This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    How the heck do I remove this from my laptop? i have a feeling this is causing some issues for me.

    nah it doesn't show in the uninstaller in windows store. i just disabled it for the time being.

    I ended up just deleting the registry entry for it.

    You could just uninstall the driver, delete the 3rd party folder then install the driver this will solve the issue out right.

    edit: MSI has updated only the Realtek UAD drivers to 8642 on their web site

    edit 2: I think hacktrix2006 said it best, delete the 3rd party folder from the realtek uad driver package before installing/re-installing the realtek uad driver
