My NOD32-AMON scans 4000 files during startup ? Thats insane. 4000 files ? My HDD just keeps on loading and loading.
When I look at the files the AMON scans, its all kinds of files. Files and programs which I've disabled in Services/MSconfig, and nearly all my folders. Whats wrong ? Should I reinstall vista ?

OK, after a reboot AMON scanned about 1300 files to get to my desktop with Wifi running, once I opened Firefox to get back here it's up to 1900. Of course, the longer you keep your computer running the more files it's going to show as scanned.

    With Vista who knows...

Ok. but 4000 files just to launch Vista ? I think its waay too much. Maybe I should reinstall...

NOD32 is awesome. It's running a perpetual scan of my files from the time I boot. It's in assembly code so the effect of NOD32 being on or off is like 3% on my 2.66GHz P4, 512MB of DDR-333, and 5400RPM 120GB PATA 1MB cache hard drive.
