I noticed recently that NHC doesn't go to the lowest clock (1.00 ghz) during idling, but instead uses the highest speed. In fact, it only goes to 1.00 ghz when I'm at about 10% CPU usage. Does anyone know how to fix this? I tried uninstalling, but that didn't seem to help.

you could try to do a custom setting. also, you could check to see if you have NHC set to a certain power scheme.
