    Hi folks..

My laptop ( specs in signature ) is randomly going into sleep mode, like 3 or 4 times a day. This is very frustrating and I can't figure out the reason.

My laptop is always plugged in and the OS was installed two weeks ago so it's probably not the problem..

It's not overheating either, my idle temps are okay.

I'll just ask... did you check your power management settings? You can turn off sleep and hibernate there, and when you reinstall an OS it usually reverts back to default settings (I think it sleeps after 10 min after idle). If thats not your problem then I don't know what is... but if you never want your computer to sleep or hibernate, you can turn both off via command prompt.

    1. Did the problem occur before the OS re-install?
    2. Do you notice any related issues in event viewer?

    1 - No it didn't.
2 - Actually no, it's like I clicked the sleep button myself.

Try turning off sleep and hibernate via command prompt
In command prompt you turn off hibernate by typing: powercfg -h off (ENTER)

disabling sleep is a little more complicated: windows 7 - How to disable sleep mode via CMD? - Super User
