    Msconfig Startup clean up

    Hello

    How can I clean up the unwantedm, unchecked Startup Items from the Msconfig ?

    I think it all about registries...I have RegCleaner....

    Once you have unchecked them from MSConfig they do nothing. There is really no need to remove them.

    ^its true. Just uncheck them. Removing them is no difference.

    but then you don't get to boot normally, just selective boot. Is there any real difference to that or will it not effect anything at all?

    You can delete them thru Regedit
    Try WindowsDefender too (software explorer)

    Im actually a little scared to mess with regedit as I don't really know what Im doing. Is there a tutorial on that somewhere? I've done it before and it sometimes crashed my system.

    Also, I can't seem to find windowsdefender on microsoft's dl page, do you happen to have the link to it?

    and yeah about my original question,are there any consequences to booting in selective mode vs normal boot? thanks in advance

    No difference. Other than the fact that the processes you disabled won't be started. ;)
