Hi guys,

Is there a way to bring up in FFox the "yellow-tag" that comes in IE when u move ur mouse over a image or link? Pls. advise....

Also, how do u move between tabs with the keyboard? I use ctrl+tab right now but that does not bring up the small window which shows all tabs from which u can choose which tab to go to...

I am going to assume that the yellow tag you are talking about is a tooltip.

Firefox (like it should) uses the title attribute of an image or link for the contents of the tooltips. If it isn't set, then no tooltip will show. In IE, I believe it will use either the alt attribute or the title one, not sure which would come first if they were both set.

I'm not sure what you're talking about with the "small window which shows all tabs from which u can choose which tab to go to." I have never encountered such a feature in Firefox. Are you mistaking this for the Alt+Tab window switcher?

It's up to the owner of the website to set their links and images title attributes.

Here's some example HTML:

HTML:
<!-- Link: -->
www.notebookreview.com

<!-- Image: -->

For the link shown, the text that would be shown in the tooltip would be "Notebook Reviews and More!" and for the image it would be "Image Title."

As for the tabs in Firefox, to my knowledge there isn't a feature like that. There may be an extension written, so check Mozilla Add-Ons.

Why would it? The tab titles are, like, right there, in front of your eyes. Why do you need another small window?
