    Is there any difference in stability between vista business, ultimate and home premium x64?

    In order of less features to more features:

    home premium > business > ultimate

    Home premium is by far the most suitable for the average user.

    The thing I hated about Vista Business was the lack of Media Center. Go for Ultimate. You like that the best. No stability difference.
