Ok so i installed xp on my sager NP9260, (up)grading from vista :p

everything was fine, starting up fine, then got all the drivers and programs on, defraged, the usual.

but after the 5th or so time rebooting, windows has been taking forever to load.. not the part when you see the logo, with the progress bar, but when the window (or blue user screen) keeps saying "Windows is starting up"

so basically my problem is that it stays at that window for about 45 secs before letting you log on.

one more minor problem, when i shut down, windows takes no time to end, but the computer stays on, (with the fans, and the light) for about 45 secs then finally shuts off.

AGAIN: i have defragged AND checked for virus' and spyware, i even did a disk error check.

    THANKS
