A lot of programs have an option to minimize to system tray, but I'm using a program that doesn't have this. Is there any way for me to be able to minimize it to system tray anyways?

Pressing ALT and Space bar, and then "N" will minimize a window. Also, pressing Windows key and "D" will minimize all, but it's easy for whoever made your app to disable the minimize function.

P.s. If you're having trouble with a particular app, it would me much easier for people to try to help if you named it !

Yeah I'm not aware of anything built in to Windows that lets you do this. (Of course some apps are specially coded to provide this feature.) There may be a third-party program out there (free or otherwise) that lets you do this... I don't really know.

I wish more programs came with the minimize to system tray option built in. But even then my system tray is looking a bit over loaded these days. I would say try that Tray it program.
