I added a Windows 7 dual boot to my XP system a few weeks ago (one OS is on c: and the other is on d: of my harddisk). Now the XP part seems to have virus problems (which I may have eradicated by running many antivirus programs, or not). I'd like to operate from the W7 side now.

There are many programs and related data on the XP side. Is there any way to run the programs from the W7 side without reinstalling all of them? I can easily access the data, and some programs run easily, but others store info in the XP registry.
