After all the updates installed, I now have the Skydrive icon on my task bar on all our Windows 8.1 computers. It previously was not there.

11 updates, 91MB. I install optional updates if I think they are necessary like security updates. No Bing bar updates.

Amen, Bing Desktop is something I will not install on my computers. As for optional updates, I look into what they fix before installing them.

    3 Optional, 11 Important/Recommended, and MSR Tool. 6 Office Pro 2010 updates.

Already use Bing desktop (I like the new picture everyday surprise, mostly); Avoid that Bing Toolbar with extreme dislike.

I install all the optional windows updates first and only (uncheck important/rec's) - reboot - install all the important/recommended - reboot - install all office updates.
