    i bought dell inspiron 6400 , i installed windows vista but mediadirect doesn`t work , when i reinstall it with mediadirect 3.0 for xps , it says (ntldr is missing) please helppppppppppppppppppppppp

    Sounds like you need a VISTA version rather than the XP one you tried to install.

    That error is usually caused due to a problem in the boot.ini file of the MD Windows installation. Check this post for a possible fix. Instead of booting with the XP CD you can use md3utils.exe (MD Installation Disk\Dellkit\MD3Utils.exe) to mount the hidden MD partition.

    Usage: md3utils.exe /mapmd3 or, optionally you can specify the drive letter as md3utils.exe /mapmd3=x

    That may or may not work, I haven't tried it with Vista, give it a try and see.

    this works with windows xp , but i am running windows vista
