I looked and i couldn't find the solution to this problem. The problem is that all my songs get choppy during the last few seconds of play back using Windows Media Player 11 in Vista. Doesn't do it with the Creative labs Player. I like Windows media Player 11 and would really appreciate any assistance with this issue.

I bet you have a Sigma Tel audio chip (inspiron maybe?).

The problem is the Sigma Tel Enhancements down in the sys tray...

In the Sys Tray, right click on the speaker icon and choose Playback Devices. On the Playback tab, double-click the Speakers icon. On the Enhancements tab, check the box that says Disable All Audio Enhancements. Click OK on all the prompts.

Thank you deputy963. I also had the same problem with WMP11. But what bothered me the most what that if I changed mp3 tracks it would take about 5 seconds just to start the next song.
