    Hi guys,

    Basically I want Matchad to solve the variables α1, α2, α3, φ1, φ2 and φ3.

Here is what I have entered:

I am pretty sure they are not all equal to 0 like it has calculated... So any ideas what the next step to solving them is?

Many thanks in advance and if you need any more information I will do my best to help!

You are merely " pretty sure"? I would say that, if you aren't even able to be sure about that point, then you should not attempt to solve this kind of a problem. Hint: I am entirely sure that the solution MathCad gave you is wrong.

Other than that, this is not the right place to get your homework problems solved. But, I'll give you yet another hint: Look at how the variables you are interested in appear in your equations. Once you understand that, you should be able to see that a set of straightforward substitutions will lead to a much simpler set of equations, which you should be able to solve by hand. Last remark: There is a problem with the set of equations as given above. My guess is that your equations were wrong to begin with.

Wow, that's very generous of you. And here I was, thinking you were the one asking for help...

That website is alright, but it won't help people like our OP... ;)
