    Hello,

Is there a map software for a computer? I'm going on a trip and it'll be really great if I can use my laptop as a map. If you have any recommendations, please let me know.

    Thank you,

Streets & Maps by Microsoft is pretty decent.

Thats the only one I use that is fully loaded on my hardrive (meaning no internet necessary). But you can use the net to update for construction, traffic & other info. Works decent with GPS too.

I would also like to know other map software that I can fully load on my drive.

Anything by DeLorme is also good. I bought a last years copy at office depot for about $10, and so far it's had anything I looked for. Look in their bargain software rack.

Streets and Trips is the way to go, and you can even get a USB GPS module that will work with the program.
