I am wondering whether any of you know of a good music maker with samples; things like eJay and Magix Music Maker.

It would be nice to make professional sounding tracks.

I'm not exactly sure what you're asking for but Audacity might help you.

No, thats not really what i was looking for. I would like something like eJay Magix Music Maker that has capabilities like Reason 4, but includes its own sound samples, rather than having to plug a keyboard/MIDI Synth etc into the laptop to play etc.

Well i have found a nice program. It is more advanced than eJay etc and is pretty good. Its Fruity Loops Studio, although its not free, the demo is still pretty good.
