    while i was logged in i got this message:

    "Login process has failed to create the security dialog box"
    "failure - Security Options"

    can someone tell me what this means, its happened several times before

    If you have Vista, it may be because of an incompatable antivirus/security program.

    I also saw some posts about WD disk drives. Perhaps the Event Viewer Logs have more information?

    yeah so did i, some people had trouble after installing SP1 and someone was told it was becuase pirated software, still not fix though

    Have u seen a pattern when this happens? or is it just random? also remember from when (as in when u did something at the h/w or s/w level) this started happening???

    its only happened a couple of times, maybe one every 1 or 2 months, i just worried that it might get worse, read it it happening on a daily basis for some people
