This process keeps using a lot of my CPU (sometimes 100%) and around 1 GB of RAM. I read that it belongs to Adobe Flash, but why does it keep getting processed and how to I fix/get rid of it?

It doesn't belong to Flash, but Adobe Reader or Adobe acrobat.

I would start by uninstalling the program in the normal way (Programs and Features in control panel)

If the problem goes away, you can reinstall the program. Odds are it is just a program gone bad.

Go to Help > Improvement Program Options, and change it to "No, thank you"
If it's already set to that, try uninstalling, and getting Reader 9.1.
