    Hey guys..
I just recently installed limewire and it's running rediculously slow. Sometimes it'll be alright but then it'll slow down so much it makes it annoying to just try and type or do anything in the program. All the while all the other applications i'm running in the background are fine (like firefox, and word).
I tried getting frostwire, and it works a bit better but the problem isn't gone.

I know i don't have the newest of laptops, but i don't think it has to do with my computer being not "hefty" enough to handle the program. (I've opened windows task manager and watch performace to see if my CPU or ram is struggling, but it's not). What could it be? Has anyone else had this problem? I had this same problem about a year ago in this same laptop but on a different hard drive (that recently had to be replaced)... i never solved it though.

    thanks in advance

    ps.

    pentium m 2.00ghz
