    it is 12:06 am here in australia which means we are only 23hours and 54mins away from getting our hands on our shiny new windows 7 'RETAIL' (no comment needed by all those with msdn or technet {or those in the UK that got theirs shipped early}) <<you lucky bus---terds... lol

    oh no the kewis are the luckiest... they only 20hrs to go... :( actually it could be closer for me cos my state is the only one not on daylight savings and i am buying mine through the student deal online so i might get it at 11pm tonight... which means i only have 21hrs to go ...

    lol.

    or those of us who attended local technet launches, say on September 25th. Got as many win7 ultimate packages as I could grab plus a server 2008 enterprise package.

    The weather was dreadful here that day, lots of no shows, lots of available grab bags.

    yer you lucky yanks... you get everything... we didnt even get them to start with...

    we also get ripped of in many other ways ie, no family pack, outrageous prices even though our dollar is like 93 US cents now... we get scred with heaps of things... id rather be in the US and get all of those extras than being able to buy win7 from a store however many hour earlier...

    what is the time there in the US?
