Okay, so for experimental purposes I have installed Windows 7 on my Dell Studio 1555 system, and well, HWmonitor is telling me the CPU is idling at 60 degrees Celsius. RmClock is telling me its at 45 degrees, and CoreTemp is telling me it's at 50.

So which is correct? The bios doesn't seem to read temps either.

A man with one watch knows what time it is, but a man with 2 is never quite sure.

Have you tried stress testing it to see how high each one reads?

    Try Everest Ultimate edition.
It's not free, but the trial version should suffice you to see which program is right. The goal of this company is actually to make sure the information and temperatures are properly read (they have the money to buy every system and test and compare with their sensors).
