I just installed Windows 7 Enterprise 90 day trial. I have my power management settings set to-"When I close the lid-Do nothing".

In Vista, the screen used to go off when the lid was 90% closed. With Windows 7, when I close the lid, the light is still on and the screen does not go off when I do the same-Seems like the lid sensor is not working in Win 7.

It's a Dell XPS studio 16-Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks

I was afraid of sleep not working in Windows 7.

Try setting it to go to sleep. It really doesn't take that long for it to wake up, and it's only a few seconds longer than having the screen turn back on.

Oh, that would make sense because sleep mode is actually handled by the GPU...

Sarcasm for the people who believe it.

It does make sense though, as it may have been a driver problem.

Now, did you get CCC without a driver? I'm looking for just the program by itself without the driver...
