Hey I am new to installing my old OS (yeah great idea, lets install a beta that forces you to stop using it in august >.<). I have recovery disks, so before 7 ends (running build 7077 btw) do i just put them in my computer and run them?
because if i put them in the drive theres no .exe thing or anything.
i wanna make sure i still have my vista 64bit blah blah blah OS later :O because theres no upgrade to 7 (and i would SO upgrade because this is great so far)

    The Musican,

You should boot from that disks. Put it in the CDROM and reboot your laptop. It should automatically boot up from the disk. Make sure to make backups of all your data cause when you do a install, it will wipe the hard drives. You can only do NEW INSTALLATION from the disks, NOT a upgrade/downgrading your previous OS.

    Good luck!

I think the RC is coming in May, and as far as i know, you will be able to use it until march next year, so nearly a years usage from it. So you may still be able to use W7 past August.

Type in Winver in the search box, this will tell you when it runs out, if your running 7077, like you said, this runs out next year, not august. The "Official Beta" was build 7000, which your not running. This is the one that ran out August.

Below are pictures of winver from different builds, picture one shows build 7000 (the official beta, ending in july) and build 7057 (ending next year):

This one is from my 7077 build, showing next year:
