I installed service pack 2 for vista on my laptop this evening.
Upon opening iTunes later tonight, I got a message saying that the Vista Aero scheme was disabled because of a problem with iTunes.
Now, I don't know if this is just Windows way of telling Apple to screw off(although that'd be lulzy) or if there's a legit graphics issue.
There really shouldn't be an issue though, considering it was perfectly fine before I installed SP2.
    Specs in sig. :p

Running V-SP2 and iTunes for last 4 months. No issues. I'm sure it's just Apple telling Vista you suck?

    Odd.
Is there a way to prevent it from automatically freaking out and going to the Basic scheme?

Try reboot if you haven't. Keep testing with other software, only itunes?

    Anyone?

Already rebooted. Twice. And so far, only iTunes. I haven't opened anything that's conflicted with it yet. I'll go around opening other things too.

OK, delete iTunes, then try downloading fresh copy. Save the music! Any problems with quick draw application?
