    Hi.

I have this laptop with Vista on it. It will not properly run my games. It starts the game up just fine, and gets me into the menu of the said games, but when I try to actually start playing, it freezes while loading the game, and I must do a complete system restart. I know these games run on this computer, because I was playing them on here (with Vista) a few months ago. However, over time, the playability of the games has degraded to this point. A strange thing is that while I cannot play games installed on the hard drive, I CAN play games taht I run off of my portable hard drive. It seems like the hard drive is having trouble loading information.

Has anyone else encountered this problem?

    I am using Home Premium.

Try scanning the disk for errors and fix them. There could be some bad sectors
