    Is there a way to tell windows to use drivers from a usb stick?

    What exactly do you mean? A seperate set of drivers?

    If I am not mistaken, windows will only use drivers from two locations: /system32 and the actual program location. It is possible to change the location of the drivers in the registry to point to the drivers on the stick. But that may require an awful lot of work. Here is what I would do: create backups of the original drivers (store them somewhere other than there original location) and replace them with the drivers you are wanting to use.
