I ordered my dell inspron 1520 a while ago with vista 32 bit. Looking at it now im starting to think that maybe its time to upgrade. I would like to get things running a little faster... and maybe get my games to go up a few fps.
Ive kinda been out of the whole 32-64 sphere so i haven't been following it as much as when i first bought this pc so i would like to ask the kind folks out there that know about this stuff more than i do if it is time to upgrade.

If your looking for game performance, 64 - bit isn't really going to help you as long as you have minimal required RAM, any additional RAM isn't going to provide you with increased performance. 64 - bit increases your maximum amount of RAM which is locked at 4GB for 32 - bit OS.

64 bit helps if you are trying to multitask alot, and general productivity so you can just leave programs loaded in the memory.
