This was on the front page of my local newspaper today.

"...Microsoft has issued a global warning that there is a security hole in Internet Explorer that allows hackers to install malicious scripts...

...The flaw affects all versions of Windows and users could be targeted simply by visiting an infected website..."

Internet Explorer users exposed to hackers | Stuff.co.nz

Here is what Microsoft has about it

    kb2501696

    and

Microsoft Security Advisory (2501696): Vulnerability in MHTML Could Allow Information Disclosure

Has anyone else learnt of this?
Is it realy a big issue for all internet explorer users?
And should the fix be applied?

    Hm.
I don't expect malicious MHTL stuff on Microsoft.com, windowsupdate.com or the configuration pages of my router or printer.
MSIE on my computers is not allowed to visit anything else :D
