    I get this almost everyday each time I open a website I get this error

    in case that it's memory coruption, changing the browser version won't really fix it i'm afraid. :)

    to find out if it's really the memory failure, you can use for example memtest, available at http://www.memtest.org/ - and also try to run checkdisk to make sure that the hdd is ok. but most probably, you would get BSODs in such case...

    I get the same type of problem almost everyday. Except it just stops working and turns completely white. I have to ctrl-alt-Del to close the browser. It just stops responding on any website.

    Before assuming it is hardware related, first consider the most likely source--a BHO (browser helper object)

    START > ALL PROGRAMS > ACCESSORIES > SYSTEM TOOLS, launch IE (NO ADD-ONS)

    Visit several sites...any crashes?
