Hi all,
I have a query that I couldn't seem to find the information about online.
When you buy a computer, you turn it on for the first time and it starts up and shows you all the widnows set up bits as if there is no current user. Once done the system is pretty much ready to go. Drivers are there and the system is preconfigured.
My question is how can I achieve this? I want to be able to install windows, all drivers, required software etc.. then leave the system as if it has no current user.
I built a system for my gf's mum but I want to send it out as if it was brand new from a company, Present for her birthday to go with some fancy sewing machine that is computer controlled :/ lol
I hope that makes sense? The OS will beWindows 8.1
Thank you all

It's called a Windows PE or Pre-Installation Environment. You can install all drivers and apps and such. It takes some time to get it working and understanding how it all works. See here: https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/Hh825110.aspx
Or you can set it up through an OOBE or "Out of Box Experience": https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/Hh824920.aspx -
Thanks Wingnut

I asked this question to HID Evolution back then when I was almost about to order a PC from them. I'm like, please set my username to Matrix Leader, etc, etc, etc, what I like. They said no need for this, once they configure everything, they are gonna send it to me in OOBE state meaning I will get a chance to create the username I want and configure everything whilst still having all their preconfigured drivers, software, etc. done.
