I am facing problems in installing Windows XP and Windows Server 2003 and any other Linux operating system on my Toshiba Satellite M200 notebook which was shipped with Windows Vista Home Basic.

All version on Windows Vista can be installed on it ie Vista Ultimate or Windows Server 2008 beta ie the versions having Vista Engine.

When i install XP it cant find out my Harddiskdrive and same is the case with Windows Server 2003 and other Microsoft Operating Systems.

I m having an invisible ESIA partition on my hdd having a size of 1.46GB. I think the problem could be because of this partition.

    Specification of my laptop are:-
    Toshiba Satellite M200
Processor: Intel core 2 duo T7100
    RAM:-2GB....

Please Please anybody help my life is pathetic here.I m unable to do anything.

    Thanks in advance

You have to disable SATA native in BIOS or slipstream drivers in WinXP installation CD

you can install windows xp pro or any other OS using Virtual PC or VMware you can get these two software by doing a search on google or go to my web site. www.mnlcomputerltd.tk
install virtual pc on your existing OS. the process is simple to install any other OS.
I myself have tried it and it works. Those who have network its easy get access to both OS to use printer. those who don't have network you will need to buy a lan switch or hub so that you be able to print and access any partition on vista os.

hope I have help u all. if u need any assistance email me. [email protected].
