This just started two days ago upon my usual morning boot - So I wake up and I turn the computer on and it starts up SLOWER than hell. I look down and realize that the HD light is almost solid and stays that way for the better part of an hour, way past when everything finally loads. This can't be indexing because this install of Vista has been on here for weeks now, it already did that stuff. Also why did this JUST start out of the blue? My CPU usage also fluctuates like mad as well when it is doing this massive HD access.

It's probably the "trustedinstaller.exe" acting up...there was a thread about it a few weeks ago, I don't remember the exact solution, but something along the lines of clearing the event log.
