    Hello everyone,

So I have a weird OCD :p on re-installing fresh Win7 OS on my laptop every 4 to 5 months. And instead of having to re-download/re-install drivers and games.... I want to image/clone my main drive (with fresh installation of Win7 with stupid updates and drivers installed and what not) to a separate drive which i can just copy the stuff over.

Now there are software that image and clones drives... but don't they require a separate computer to do so?

Is there a way to do it without using 3rd party software?

Ultimately I just want to have my main drive (SSD) with fresh installation of OS, drivers, and games to be "cloned" to a separate HDD which i can later on just copy the stuff in the HDD over to the SSD.

    Thank you,
    :)

Windows has a backup utility that can do this...

Also you don't really need to reinstall 7 every half a year, but old habits die hard I suppose.
