Apologies in advance, as I know this has been answered but a number of searches didn't yield what I was looking for.

I need a drive/partition imaging solution that supports file extraction. For example, image my existing laptop to a external drive, and then be able to open that image file and just pull an individual file out of it, not re-write the entire image to disk just to get that one file.

I know Ghost used to be able to do this with Ghost Explorer, but I'm looking to avoid using Ghost. Thanks!

    :D

Nevermind, I found one. It looks like Shadow Protect Desktop offers this feature..
