    If a laptop is affected with Spyware, is the wireless network compromised?

    I recently travelled to another location and used someone else's wireless network. Since my PC was affected, will it affect the other computers in the network (assuming no transfer of files or data between laptops)?

    No i dont think so as ur only sending data to the wireless for a connection , i could be wrong but i really dont think so

    Depends on the type of spyware. If it's the kind that searches for active network connections and attempts to distribute itself to every client it can find, then it's possible it propagated through the network. Also depends on the quality of firewalls and spyware blocking software on each computer in the network...
