Icons In XP Pro wrong

Hi guys,
I'm not sure when I happened, (maybe after I ran CCleaner)? but my Icons for 'my computer' 'my documents' changed to a generic icon, the one for files of an unknown extension I think. Also my quick launch 'short cut to desktop and control panel also changed to this, others may have as well. I managed to restore My computer and my docs by right click desktop > properties > desktop > customize desktop > clicking my pc and my docs and clicking restore default icon

Is there another way to fix this? can i fix all the Icons at once? How can i fix the other Icons? What might have caused this?

I think this has happened to be before, but the icons ust restored themselves when I restarted.
