IE-8 crashes almost every single time I run it, sometimes right after re-booting. It runs for a few seconds/minutes and then crashes, and I have to restart it. Sometimes it wouldn't run at all.

    What could cause that?

There seems to be no way to uninstall/reinstall it.

I'm not sure as the cause, but my suggestion would be to run a malware/spyware/virus scan to rule any of that out.

Second I'd make sure all updates are installed, and third, try resetting ALL settings back to default.
