My friend try to help me to fix my IE problem, he made some registry cleaning but we had a some problems with RoadRunner so Friday night was late and he left. For me only choice was reinstall the OS from scratch.
I think I made a mistake and didn’t format the hard drive. But any way I will try to explain my Windows XP OS installation process.
    1). Windows XP installed (35min)
2). Norton AV (25min) scanned and found no viruses so I assume my virus problem fixed. (big mistake)
3). Windows XP “Critical Security Updates” (15min). In this point I checked the system and I can connect the Internet with no problem.
    4). Mozilla Firefox browser (free)
    5). Popup manager (free)
    6). Sygate Fireball 5.5 (free)
    7). AVG Anti-virus 6.0 (free)
    8). PestPatrol ($39.95)
    9). Application Recovery CD (15min)
    10). Driver Recovery CD Disc.1 (25min)
    11). Driver Recovery CD Disc.2 (12-min)
    12). HP Image Zone plus Disc.2 (15min) I don’t know where is the Disc.1 ???
    13). HP Image Zone plus Disc.3 (5min)
    14). WinDVD Creator 2 (3min)

I run PestPatrol, on the first scan found 27 pets, on the second scan found zero so I think PestPatrol doing his job.
I run Norton and AVG Anti-virus they both found 24 infected files and they can’t delete because some of the files put under Quarantine by PestPatrol.
OS installation was not difficult, I set all the Firewalls and yesterday I installed my wireless router with out any problem. My notebook working ok, all the USB ports, screen, two browsers working fine, all the Firewalls and Pestpatrol so far doing their jobs.
I hope that 24 viruses will not create a problem???

    Regards

I had never heard of pestpatrol, that is neat. Reinstalling the OS would re-create the registry, meaning viruses and adware would not start up at system boot. It isn't as good as a complete wipe, but it helps nonetheless. With the viruses out of the registry, their deletion is permanant.[ :)]Glad to hear it worked out. For the longest time I had a browser hijack that would redirect me to "therealsearch" whenever I tried to download.

I think PestPatrol is fast and better than Spybot Search and Destroy (free),it cost me $39.95 but working just fine also Laptop Magazine September issue has a article about PestPatrol. I’m not so good about computer repair or software issues but I guess I was little lucky and everything worked with out any additional problems.
    Thank you again
