ofcourse when you restore to factory default you dont have the latest windows vista patches, when you start the first time.

so when my windows first start to install acer software for acer aspire5920g

i was removing norton anti virus with remove norton and symtec tool

then i did a crapcleaner to deleted everthing of norton and symtec

then i downloaded avg anti virus. and hitmanpro(spyware killer) and firefox
and then i downloaded ares p2p and it will not connect to internet or network for downloading.

before the restore to factory default , i had almost every latest windows patches installed for windows vista, and when i downloaded ares p2p it connects automatic to internet and i could download .

does ares p2p depends on those windows pathes to connect to ip adress

    or is it something else???

    help me

It's a possibility you have to let your p2p client through the windows firewall (which might be blocking it).
Vista is sensitive about p2p programs (not always, but can be) so you have to manually allow the program through the Windows firewall (if it's on).
