Every time that I try to open the program it loads and then my computer screen turns black and is unresponsive. I should add that this is the free trial version. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Are you using Vista? I have the previous version of Premier Elements and it wouldn't work without the Vista patch on Adobe's website.

I was trying a lot of free trials from adobe just to compare them with other products and this never happened to me, mind you I didnt try Premier Elements.

Are you using x64 or x86 vista? maybe there is a patch or hotfix on their website, there is so much flash on all of adobes pages it is easy to miss something
