I have installed and used with no problems Catalyst 10.6 and 10.7 over the past couple of months.

However, recently I tried to launch the catalyst control center and it was no longer in my system tray and I could not find CCC.exe anywhere on my computer.

    Where would it be located?

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling and it installs successfully but I cannot launch the CCC.

I tweaked my services and startup applications to reduce my boot time about a month ago and I think perhaps there is some service that needs to be enabled or restarted.

I could not find any Catalyst services that were running or stopped or disabled in the services menu.

I read that this sometimes happens with a service called software licensing protection that needs to be stopped and restarted. I tried that and Catalyst still did not appear in the system tray or in process explorer or the services menu.

The easiest way is to probably just reinstall whichever driver you are using, CCC should show up in the right click menu on the desktop
