    How to start up computer in high peformance mode ?

    Vista here, after start up computer is always in balanced mode, how to change this that when I start up next time, it will be in high pereformance mode ?

    Change the Power plan to "High Performance" in Power options. Vista doesn't change the power plan, unless you are using another OEM power management software, which resets the power plan to "Balanced" every time.

    Balanced power plan is the best option for notebooks.

    The computer changes everytime the high performance to balanced mode when I restart, what other and where can I find this OEM software ?

    go to start > control panel > power options > left hand side create a power plan. once you set it up it will stay on that plan.

    This begs the question, why do you want it to start in high performance mode? Balanced mode will still allow the CPU to throttle up to 100% if needed, so there really is no benefit to high performance mode anyway.
