This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    How to solve Chrome's "Missing Plug-in"?

    I searched the web and apparently this is a common problem without a clear solution. Using the google Chrome browser, when a web page has embedded video clips, instead of the video you get this error message "Missing Plug-in". There is no button or whatsoever with that message (some people see a button). Does anyone know a solution that really works?

    Thanks in advance.

    (p.s. I have adobe flash and Java installed.)

    I think this had something to do with Google droppping the support for adobe flash player, I can't confim this but I think I read it somewhere.

    Try loading the page using a different browser such as Mozilla Firefox
