    Is there a way to minimize w/e you're on(browser, window, etc.) with a command. I know of a few like windows+m, but that minimizes EVERYTHING you have open. I know alt+space opens the menu, but yea. I want a command to minimize THE thing I have open and on, and that only.

    ^If you do it that way, you don't need the second alt. Just alt-space, n.

    I don't know of anything in Windows, but something could probably be coded in AutoHotkey.

    It works like Alt-tab, and only if you have more than one program open.

    command=?

    ////

    Well, alt space+n works. ok i guess, if this is the only way. lol
    but my app "miniMIZE" doesn't react to this kind of minimizing. i want a command that acts like im physically moving my mouse to the top right and clicking the minimize button.

    You mean you don't want the Alt+Space box to show up? Cuz otherwise I think it's the same. :p

    No it's NOT EXACTLY the same as physically clicking the minimize button in top right. I have an application called "minimize" and it only works when i go to the top right and click the minimize bar. the alt space, then minimize doesnt work

    Autohotkey was mentioned...

    So you're saying this application called "minimze" won't minimize with the Alt+Spacebar thing? What's this application do? Do you use it all the time? :confused:

    This is the program that OP is using. If that's the only app you want to "command minimize" then just physically move your mouse and minimize it. Alt+Space+n works for all other windows like IE, Mozilla, Win Explorer, etc. so just use that.

    No...I want my browser to minimize so that "miniMIZE" works. alt space n doesnt work in the applications favor. i know, this sounds confusing.
