Right click on it and hit Properties, then Autohide.

Umm, Windows cannot operate without the task bar?? How are you going to control your applications without the task bar? Objectdock can only act like a shortcut bar - it cannot let you access windows that you already have open, especially if they are multiple windows of the same application.

i'm not sure if you can disable it,i'm interested in knowing if it's possible as well.

But you can just move it to the side or the top if it doesnt make objectdock look good. i have mine on the top and object dock at the bottom.

put your taskbar on top and then autohide. as long as you don't have any windows open, you won't know it's there. contrast that having the taskbar on bottom where you will see a line across the bottom of the screen.

if you set objectdock to have it control open windows, you won't need the taskbar.

I don't know which version of objectdoc you have, but if you have object dock plus you can disable windows taskbar from the doc settings.
