How do you clear everything including the settings, the bookmarks tab and everything. On Firefox you delete the profile, how do you do it on Chrome?

Don't know how others do it, but I had to uninstall mine completely and re-install it. I sometimes compare Chrome to Norton :D

    cheers ...

How did you uninstall it completely? Using Windows Add/Remove?

cCleaner, then manually delete the Chrome folder, then cCleaner again to clear out "resilient" Chrome registry

    cheers ...

Google Chrome is actually installed in the user's application data folder, not in the program files folder.

You should use the Add/Remove Programs control panel applet to remove Google Chrome from your system. Then use CCleaner to remove any leftover's, and finally you can re-download and install Chrome.

. Chrome folder: under Google and under Document settings/Application/Google

. cCleaner: Tools, there you have the option to remove Chrome. Or you can also use Add/Remove Programs

. cCleaner: registry option to clean, straight forward within menu

    cheers ...
