    Hi,
I was having a nightmare with lots of little problems on my Advent 7105 so installed a trial Vista disc from another pc to see if it would cure them. This helped my problems but now the trial has expired and I can't afford the Vista purchase price.

I want to reinstall the 2005 Media Centre edition of Windows but have no disc as It didn't come with one (just a sticker underneath). How can I reinstall without the disc? Can i use someone elses Windows XP disc and use my code and would it have to be a media centre edition?

    Thanks for your help, toby.

Not unless it is a Dell XP Media Edition Disk FROM DELL. Otherwise, just contact Dell and they will send you a disk for free...takes a day to get there.
