    How do I know if my Vostro 1500 Xp Machine is utilizing both cores?

    If you mean are they working? "CTRL+ALT+DEL" Task Manager. Click "Performance" tab (3rd to the right). Click "View" at the top, 3rd down CPU history, make sure set to "one graph per CPU". Now you can watch that graph for hours, you can even have it minimize to sys tray!

    For older games and whatnot, you probably will only using one core. But then again, it's not like you need a full processing load to take Starcraft or Warcraft 3.
