What? How about a little more information, like the operating system you are using, when this started happening, what you recently installed or removed, whether or not you've verified you don't have a virus/trojan/malware, and on and on.

Also, please be specific - what is a "thing"? What is the exact error message?

    Alrighty,

An error message comes up saying that, "Host process for windows doesn't work" then it says close or repair, and either way it shuts it down so no more "damage occurs on my computer". I'm using vista, and it started happening a few days ago. I haven't recently installed anything, except SP1. But that was a week or two ago. I scanned with AVG and didn't get any virus', I also haven't gotten it for a while, but the svchost isn't there in processes anymore

When does this error message appear? Does it appear at random or after you run a specific application? You say it hasn't happened in a while - have you rebooted the computer to see if the error appears again?

What version of Vista do you have?

Okay, i run vista business. It just came up when I disabled the wireless and then re-enabled it. The wireless does work but it sends my computer taskbar and star menu back to windows 2000 style.

here is a picture, i tried disabling it again and nothing came up.

Stop the wlan service, change it to manual start up thru properties, reboot your system and then start the wlan service. See if this solves the issue.
