My excel file is corrupted. All I see is gibberish character. So, I run chkdsk and it found an error regarding with orphaned file or something. I let it run and now my excel file size is reduced to zero bytes. I managed to make a copy of the excel file to another drive before chkdsk was running.

I run several programs from the web that can fix corrupted excel file to no avail. Neither the original file nor the one with zero bytes can be fixed. 2 months of work is gone :(

How do fix my excel file? I need it back!
